The Three forums are telling a similar story.

The most reliable option seems to have been to buy direct from Apple.

It’s the same every year across the big 4 and some of the larger virtual operators. 

Apple won’t guarantee shipments to the networks and will try and protect their direct sales as much as they can.

There’s always delays but usually by Christmas / January they start to sort themselves out. 

A few years in a row some of the MNOs have introduce something new, a system or a tariff which has gone wrong which doesn’t help. 

Personally, I’m disappointed that my O2 order hasn’t arrived yet especially given the time I ordered.

My Pre-order had to be redone because the staff selected the wrong hand set so I was 16th Sept at around 3pm.

Just got notification that my reservation has arrived in-store just as I’m on my way to Scotland for the weekend. 

Ordered in store to Switch Up on a Plus Plan on 15th at 13:00, completed reservation by 13:07.

Just a text to promote the new iPhone 15 range and a reminder to put an order in. So infuriating that they're still trying to pedal these phones, yet can't fulfil orders that were placed weeks ago 😡

so ive just got a text to say my airtime has been updated to my new one, and i can see it has and I now have the iphone 15 pro max on my bill for this coming month

only issue is.... i havent got the phone? 

how can they charge me for a phone i havent recieved, with no date given for when itll arrive?

That's unfortunate. Did I read that if a handset is not collected within 48 hours of the notification being issued, the owner forfeits it and it is sold to the highest bidder ? [joking]
