@Evans_01

Once the swap is completed then your old contract finishes.

@cambo1979

Firstly check your number is correct in settings >phone >my number.

If so, you'll need to keep trying customer service Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I change number in Settings phone but when I go out of it, it always reverts back to the number I don’t want to use. How do I stop this.

Question.. I am going from a sim only pay as you go to a monthly sim contract with a new O2 phone. If I sim swap am I effectively keeping my old number and moving to my new plan If I change out the old sim for the new one?

Thank you!!

Hi @Pete_Logic

If you are on a sim only plan, that isn't PAYG, it's a contract.

So just choose to UPGRADE to a new Pay Monthly contract and the number moves with you. No need for swaps or anything else. The change is made on your account, not the sim.
