Insurance Query

Hi everyone

Looking for advice on this as I've never had to claim

I dropped my Honor magic V3 (it had a case on) and whilst there doesn't seem to be visible damage only some chips on the spine, it has caused the phone not fold completely flat and also feels very loose when open inside touch screen seems to be erratic has some intermittent dead spots when using it.

I made the claim tonight over the phone and have sent back the insurance form and they said I can opt for the express replacement or send in for repair.

Obviously I want to go for an express replacement as the front screen is working still and I can't be doing without a phone. When they contact you after they get the claim form do you still get to choose or do they ask you to send the device in before getting replacement I'm quite stressed as I can't do without my phone due to circumstances so the express replacement is the solution I would need to pick

Also with it being an Honor and the phone is not long released, will they swap it with a new phone or another foldable like a Samsung fold or can they replace it with anything as long as it's the same value as my current device
