When my wife was in store sorting out her switch up order, she was also told that she could have the new phone delivered and then she'd have 2 weeks to send the other one back.  She ended up doing it as in-store collection anyway, but interestingly they took a £50 "reservation fee" deposit for whatever reason.  She did clarify that it was a deposit and that it would be refunded when she changes the phones over.

Has anyone else had that?  Not quite sure what the point of a £50 deposit is since it doesn't even come close to covering the cost of the phone so it seems a bit meaningless to me.

Edit: Had a quick search and found someone else mentioning the £50 deposit so that's something.  Just seems a bit of a weird amount - I could understand it more if it was a refundable deposit of the outstanding device fee but it is what it is

The recycle element is very confusing. Is the old device used as collateral so when o2 recycle get it the old device plan is totally paid off or am I missing something.

Typically nothing happens until Thursday anyway, but has anyone that pre-ordered online got tracking / seen their orders progress from 'processing' yet?

@SaintRC mine was green for confirmed and processing and waiting for launch day was next but the order tracking on the website isn’t working and hasn’t been since yesterday

Sounds good - I'm sure if you've got tracking then it will go live as the day goes on?

Where do you see 'waiting for launch day' etc, I've seen it previous years but this time under 'your orders' I've just got the order info and the below?

Correct. Some people have been moved to the new 360 billing system, whilst others remain on the old legacy system. The layout between the two are completely different in My O2.
