I imagine they’ll be in contact soon to advise it’s at the store for you to collect.

I phoned O2 and they have confirmed the tracking number is a DHL number, maybe depends on where we are in the country, maybe two different warehouses they are shipping from.
Who else has had DHL and how long was the number you were given?

Update on this, the O2 site has finally updated, and another adviser has confirmed its DPD and is trackable via DPD, the DPD app does not accept the extra digit on the end, 14 numbers it wants, not 15!
So just to confirm, the 15 digit number is for DPD not DHL (even though I had multiple people telling me its one courier, and others saying something else).
Either way, its trackable now 🙂

I had this email after saying the order would take three weeks
ive just rang 02 customer service and they were hopeless just said I can expect the order within 4 weeks😡

Not sure what you expect them to do? It’s a pre-order and while they have expected stock they can’t guarantee how many they’ll get. It’s dependent on Apple providing handsets, which O2 allocate those out on a first come first serve basis.
Even if they could push yours up the queue they wouldn’t because it wouldn’t be fair on everyone else who is eagerly waiting for their new phone who will have ordered before you.

Just to clarify - the way it was explained to me - when you pre-order, if it goes through thats confirmed. It will then try and find you stock immediately. There is no stock immediately so that email is expected. You will then be put in a queue for the stock to come in. So it is an expected email at that point in time.

Just had an email from O2 and DPD to say it has been dispatched. Showing delivery date as 20th September. Will be cancelling my order if it’s not here on release day.

Plenty of stock left in my local Apple store for collection, O2 would of been better option for me if they could deliver on time
