New Contract - Old Number not Moved Over

I bought a new line the other day monthly contract and supplied my PAC code from Vodafone. The sim cameI I placed in phone but it is a new O2 number, how do I get my old vodafone number on this line, I gave the details online with the purchase of the new contract. Help appreciated please.  Thank You Nick
