Help new phone and no internet

Just got my new 13 pro all set up and ready to go but no internet. Connected to wifi fine but nothing when off. Done the manual but still nothing

Use your old sim or do a sim swap to activate the new 5g one that came with the phone.

I have found sometimes new SIM which is supposed to deactivate when you update doesn;t always work. However this time I am using a 5G Sim so the process should be seamless...I say should.
