Hi Please could someone tell me once i request a PAC code and i pass it on to my new provider how long will it take to move over?  How long will my phone be out of service for?

It's usually two days from request to switchover, but not over weekends.

Worst case is 24 hours without signal but it's usually only a couple of hours. 

On the day of switchover, your O2 sim will turn off. 

At this point you insert your new sim and reboot phone every 30 mins until you get a signal.
