O2 sent me notification of an increase in price and at the same time said I had the right to leave. I have phoned them on 4 occasions to inform them I am leaving but can't get through. There is no link online to notify that you are closing your account, you just go round and round in circles (surprise, surprise). I have gone ahead and got a new SIM card from an other provider and got my pac number from O2.
SO O2 I HAVE CLOSED MY ACCOUNT!

It tells you in the email what to do, and that is to phone up and cancel, so I hope for your sake you dont have a device plan as they will be coming to you for the payment..
Also dont cancel any Direct Debits, as you will have a final bill to pay..
Also you dont need to announce you are leaving and no one from o2 will see your message...

No need to shout.
We can't do anything or care less if you're leaving.
Understandably, there are many customers cancelling because of this, so patience is required when calling. Best time is 8.00am.
