I’m thinking about leaving o2 since finding better deals with other providers, and am wondering about if the PAC is just solely for the number or the full details linked or the o2 contract.
My current contract is under my step father’s name but i’ve been paying it for years at this point and everything’s under my details apart from the name. I’d like to be able to take my number over to another provider without his name being linked to it: is this entirely possible?
I know sticking with o2 i’d have to take out a new contract and migrate it over, but was hoping it was possible to just take the number elsewhere without his name/credit stuck to it.

Just the number is transferred to the new supplier if you use a PAC
That sounds like your best option

The PAC just takes the number
It goes to whatever network and whoever's name is on the new contract
