I would definitely be calling them. The store may well ask you to do the same and a week to transfer the number is far too long. You certainly have more patience than me and I consider myself quite laid back. I would be very annoyed by now. I'm not sure exactly what has gone wrong but a phone call is much less time consuming than getting to the store. Hope you get this sorted soon.

Oh whoops! Completely forgot to come back and finish this post out 😕 I took the advice of calling O2 and they were able to sort it out for me. Thank you guys again for all the help and advice!

To be fair to O2 on this occasion, the OP used the wrong form at first so this may have confused the system somewhat.
Anyway, all sorted now which is the main thing
