Transferring numbers

Anonymous
Not applicable
I upgraded my phone 6 weeks ago and took out a new contract. I was given a temporary number and told to ring customer services to transfer my old one over. I did this, I spoke to an online guru and filled out a request form yet I still have the temporary number on the phone and texts send from both the temporary number and my old number. This is irritating to say the least!

You really need to speak with customer service by calling 202. Forget live chat for this.

I would be very wary about this. Annoying to say the least that you have two numbers active

As said contact CS and speak to someone as a matter of urgency http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

If you are using an iPhone go to settings >Phone >My number and check the correct number is entered there.
