Porting a company mobile number to a new personal phone yet to be purchased

I need to purchase a new personal phone and package and retain my ex company mobile number but am struggling to see how to do that via on line or app

The guides here will help Guide: Migration & porting into O2 

 

Beaware you will need the company who manage the mobile number to release it, as they we do it for our leavers, is get them to buy a cheap none o2 PAYG sim, port the number out, as then the number is free of o2, and in the ownership of the leaver, and then get them to port it in. 

 

This saves so many issues, and makes it a clean break... 

 

If the Company wont release it you wont be able to port it or migrate it.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
