O2 have found a loophole around the OFCOM ruling it would seem and have announced an increase of 2.7% with effect from 1st March 2014 for ALL customers regardless of whether you signed up before or after the ruling came into effect.

Standard tariff customers will have their whole tariff increased by 2.7%. Refresh customers will have the airtime only element of their tariff increased by 2.7%. The handset element of refresh tariffs will be unchanged.

Details at http://www.o2.co.uk/desktop/prices

Also posted in the thread discussing the OFCOM ruling but I thought this merited its own thread too

For all their faults both Vodafone and Three are recognising the moral issue.

If only Vodafone had better customer service and three a signal here.

Left them to come to o2 after their signal went down for a week. Vodafone have serious problems in this area and customer service dreadful. Legendary

Because gg don't make any decisions without consulting the community first.....

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Pity three don't have a community. I could make myself right at home in anticipation of April when I can pay my refresh off

Shame that some of the community wont listen to Giff Gaff.

Lots of people keep asking for tethering with unlimited data goodybags, Giff Gaff keep saying NO we wont be doing this, next day someone else asks the same question yet again.

Seems some people want the moon on a stick Smiley Frustrated
