I received this scam text today, "We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your payment information via: <Link Removed>. The link takes you to apparent genuine o2 log in page where it requests all details, including telephone number and credit card details. I got so far as to opening credit card input and stopped, suspecting it to be fraudulent. I pulled out and didn't submit details.
The problem is o2 are not answering telephone Enquiries due to Coronavirus emergency, so I was unable to check on authenticity of this request, I can only assume it's a phishing attempt to obtain Credit Card details. The telephone number of text sender was +44 7385 5663228
I suggest it be reported immediately to City of London Police:

I had a text today 27/4/20 from 07392 040175 saying
O2: We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your payment information via: https://o2.uk.bill963.com/?o2=2
I did not click on the link, as this certainly seems to be the same scam

Hi. I received the same scam text yesterday. Guessed it was a scam so haven't followed the link of provided any details, but wanted to report it and o2 aren't taking calls. I don't know how to forward the text so, having found the Community on o's website, this is my reporting!
For info, the number used by my scammer was 07385 265909. i shall now delete the text.
Cat.

Received similar message and was fooled because my credit card expiry date has just been updated so it was quite feasible that payment would be blocked. I have not input any new details so am I OK? No viruses downloaded by clicking on link???
