I was told the code would be sent in a text but have not got it.

I dont want to wait in another queue for a further half hour to be told another lie.

Given that it's the weekend, you might want to hang around till monday especially as the network outage affected a number of people. Perhaps there's a backlog?

I have found a much better deal with a reliable network for much less money so will cancel all 8 contracts and save £140+ in the process

Virgin
I get a £5 discount as I already use them and get free insurance.
The cost was already cheaper than Ofail for a better version of the same phone with more minutes etc so that will do me great.

Have you worked out how much it's going to cost you to cancel eight contracts?

It wont cost me a penny to cancel the 8 contracts as they are all due or overdue renewal.

I was going to renew them all but due to the poor service I am now leaving Ofail

now another kick in the teeth from Ofail, got through after trying for over 2 hours to be told they are updating their systems and to call back after 10am tomorrow.

You still have to give 30 day's notice to cancel, so it's going to cost at least one month's tariff for each contract. When you find your fault-free network provider, let us know so we can all switch.

Yes I will have to pay for a months tarrif when I leave but with the savings from the new provider I will be in pocket after 2 months.
Its well worth paying a month to leave anyway as the service is terrible.

Won't that be a month's tariff x 8? Your choice entirely, but maybe you ought to take a look at the Virgin Mobile forum and see how good their customer service is. I don't think you'll find it's any different in the long run.
