Hi,

i recently called about getting a contract and I’ve received the SIM card but I still need to call again to change the number over from my old sim, also I would like to know if the payment date will be the day I activate this sim or the next billing day shown on the app.

You need to port in your number Guide: Migration & porting into O2 

Your first bill is generated a few days after your order was accepted and is due 14 days later.

If a direct debit was set up by O2 you don't need to worry about paying it manually.
