Enforcement and Termination notice

Anonymous
Not applicable

As you might or might not be aware, I cancelled my plan under the 14 days cooling off period.

All well and good however I received a letter this morning headed 'Enforcement and Termination notice'.

It then goes on to say that in accordance with clause 17 of your phone plan Credit Agreement, we will terminate your credit agreement on 29th January 2016 and require full early repayment of the outstanding sum.

I then have 14 days to pay the £600 payment upfront or it will be passed to a debt collection agency.

Absolutely astounded and customer services can't seem to work out what's going on either.

Yes that was the point I was making. A case of the 'right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing' also.

A shocking mistake to make....

Definitely agree.

Actually so glad I kept hold of the receipt despite live chat saying everything was fixed.... I must have known deep down!

Very wise too. Some people just refuse delivery and then pray that an honest courier returns the phone. No proof of return can be very costly and time consuming.

Live Chat at its usual best. I'd make a few copies of the receipt in case you need to send it on to anyone.

You need to ask cs to chase up the phone and make sure it is scanned back into the o2 system.
That will close the loop and rectify your account.

Phoned back up this evening ; the phone has been located as it seems the account was cancelled before the device returned.

I've to ignore the letter and everything is sorted.

What a relief slight_smile
