I have cancelled on direct debit a similar figure. I believe it’s monthly data. Contract expires in Dec I believe. I’ve just cancelled it because I can’t afford to be paying for this.
But I’m still receiving the emails to pay the bill which has increased to £41.38.
I was also having problems getting into my 02 account but I’m finally in but there’s nothing in there about this bill.

Mobile contracts dont expire they move to a rolling monthly contract.
Have you contacted o2 to cancel your account, as if not you are liable to pay for the outstanding amout, and o2 will chase this and will pass this to a Debt Collector and charges will increase.
I would contact o2 on the details below:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

If you owe money, cancelling your direct debit before speaking to O2 will ruin your credit rating.
You need to contact O2 asap using any number in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

I will go to an 02 shop when they’re back open on the 2 Dec (been told that you’ll be open again from that date) and will get it sorted there, pay the outstanding and cancel.
