Trying to get proof of ownership for my new device and my old one which I've just finished paying the finance on, these can include
• Purchase receipts showing make/model and IMEI number
• Delivery notes showing make/model and IMEI number
• A proof of ownership letter from your network provider/retailer
Can I get o2 to provide the bottom one? I'm a bit annoyed as even though I've got both phones, one fully paid for. I've not got any proof of ownership. Nothing came in the post with my new 12 Max.
The reason I need is to progress an insurance claim on my old device which is now fully paid. I need to sort it urgently but O2 is none responsive.
Any advice of best way to talk to a human who can help at o2 much appreciated.

You need to contact O2 and they will provide you with a standard insurance letter.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or 202 from your O2 mobile.
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
When you call 202, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.

Great, i
I'll give that a go, great help. Guru needs to direct folk to the correct place as it is annoying that it directs you to non-active services.
Thanks
