My O2 App gives Error code 36 (unlinked MSISDN)

I am just wondering why? I guess this has something to do with me getting my old mobile number moved to my new contract phone.

Can anyone clarify if that is the cause? If not what is? and regardless - how to fix it?

I have this error too.  Just all of a sudden it stopped working.  I tried everything, deleting the app, removing it from quick launch, soft reset, hard resets, had a bill and still nothing 😞

Have you changed phones / upgraded or anything similar recently?

I found by resetting my password details it got me back in to the app, after waiting for O2 to find a solution which I don't think that they had a clue why
