I lost service about 4pm and after switching off 3 or four times I checked the 02 website to see if any notices about faults. When I didnt see anything obviously there, I contacted my sister who lives just a mile away and her o2 service is working. I therfore put it down to a faulty phone. It was only on delving deeper into the o2 site that I found these discussions and find that many other people are having the same problem all round the country. Why oh why have o2 not put something prominent on their website to save all the wasted time and give us some idea how long the problem is going to last??????? EJ Accrington Lancs

That's easy for you to say but where EXACTLY on the O2 website do we find this elusive service status page? It isn't on any of the menus on the homepage?

Hi, I'm in Glenrothes, Fife and haven't had a signal since goodness knows when today ... came onto the Community to see if I could find any information out, instead I've come across a lot of very angry messages. I've been with O2 mobile for a long long time and with them for Broadband for about 3 years now (still connected by the way), and I've never known this sort of thing to happen .. what ever it is I'm sure they'll be working on it as fast as they can. I just wish we were kept in the loop a bit more there's nothing worse than not knowing what's happening. Fingers crossed it gets sorted out shortly pleeeeeeeeeeease.

Anyone else got their signal back ? Did it just come on or did you have to reboot ?

I lost service around 1.00 pm today and have had nothing since. Really disappointing that there is nothing on the front of the website. I rely on my phone as my partner is abroad - even the utility companies give updates more efficiently when there is a major problem.
