Samsung galaxy s2 stuck on start up loop

My samsung galaxy s2 now won't turn on and ets stuck on the start up screen. I can't get my pictures off and I'm worried sending it to O2 will lose all this data as I have a feeling they'll just wipe it and send me a new phone. Any advice?

As I said above - The SD card shouldn't be formatted.

You could try this

. Turn the POWER OFF, pull the battery out and put it back again.
2. Simultaneously press the Volume Up, Home and Power button
3. If the Samsung Symbol appears, release the Power button
4. A Boot Menu will then show, Use the volume up/down to choose and home to select.

You need to select the reset option. What firmware are you running?

There's reboot and factory reset, will factory reset wipe all my pics on the phone though?
