Good morning all, 

 

We are aware our customers are unable to use data this morning.

 

Our technical teams are working on the issue with high priority. We are really sorry and working as hard and as fast as we can to fix this.

Latest Update:

Our 3G and 4G data services are performing as normal. Our technical teams are continuing to monitor service performance closely. We will be updating our customers later today on how we will make yesterday’s data service issue up to them and we’d once again like to thank our customers for their patience. 

A small proportion of customers have reported issues sending text messages. We can see that the vast majority are being sent and received successfully and our technical teams are investigating. Our 3G and 4G data services are performing as normal.

We are finalising how we make it up to our customers and will be contacting them later today about this. 

The Facebook mention around us giving out £75 compensation isn't correct and didn't come from us.

I use to sing O2 from the roof-tops, but I'm really fed-up with O2. This is the last nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. I'm moving!

@ladylu05 that's right, the person you are texting will need to have WhatsApp too, or if you both have it, facebook messenger. Thats the only ways I know of, sorry. Hope yours (And mine(And everyone elses)) are back up soon 😄

compo seems to "cure" everything?  I have read all the posts and

am astonished that people are like that ~ amazing 

it is no wonder that there are notices up in every public

office, hospital etc., regarding unacceptable behaviour.

Where are manners, respect and courtesy.

is anyone from 02 actually going to come on with an update and when it will be resolved 

 

had voice calls up to 2.45pm and for the last 90 mins can only make 999 calls

This really is a Joke all this time trying to sort out,we had the same thing just a little while ago,no compensation given either,I’m going to consider moving that’s for sure.

Its not a cyber attack ffs.

Not all software issues are quick to fix, especially if its an update pushed to core component.

@me-me-me and all the others thinking about moving... you will have to pay off your refresh plans and pay 30 days notice,so o2 are quids in...

Three - Coverage Issues and Garbage CS, and capped roaming data (yes its not unlimited nor is there (un)limited data
Vodafone - and there billing system of doom,
BT (EE) - and there network downgrade when they start ripping out and replacing core network components because there made by a Chinese Company...

not registered on network for calls, data ane texts, are we going to get some sort of refund, as its been off most of the day

The easiest way is to target personally those who are trying to bring a little sanity to the community. Unlike you @TallTrees I looking since stopped being surprised at all specimens and off human nature.

Easy to insult people, I wonder if they would be so quick to attack or insult me face to face.
