I moved to 3 many years ago from o2. During the switchover someone tried to call and left a voicemail on o2 voicemail service. When I tried to listen to it I'd already been moved to 3. So I can't listen and delete.
Every time I restart my phone or I drop signal and it picks up signal again I get a phone service alert for this VM. Of course I can't listen to it and delete.
I tried o2 customer services but they said they can't delete my VM.
Several phones and years later I still get this alert. Is there really no way o2 can delete it? Is the only option to put up with this alert forever or change my number? I find it hard to believe they can't delete the voicemail.

I doubt it as it should have expired a long time ago, and your Voicemail wont exist anymore on the o2 network..
If the notification is still coming down then it might be worth speaking to 3 Customer Services, and see if they can do anything.

3 said they would refresh the account but that did not fix it. Looks like I'm stuck with this unless I change phone numbers
