No signal and no help

I haven't had any signal now since Tuesday, this is happening everywhere.  I have contacted O2 via the app several times and no one could help, I went into an O2 store yesterday and the guy I spoke to said there is an issue effecting some eSIMS and there is nothing he can do, basically I will just have to wait until it is sorted.

So I decided I would close my account and move to another provider so I tried to request a PAC code to keep my number, but I can't send or receive text messages.

I contact O2 again via the app and they said that they are not autorized to give me a PAC code in the chat.

So basically I have a phone with no service, I am not getting any assistance from O2 to resolve the issue and now I can't leave either as I can't get a PAC code, does anyone have any advice on what I can do?

@CMACCA No network guarantees 100% uptime, and if you're asking to leave because of the current issue, if you're a Pay Monthly customer you will have to pay off the remainder of your contract if it's longer than 30 days. If you pay by Direct Debit and close your account before you've paid everything off, you will cause problems for yourself.

@Bambino I appreciate nothing is guaranteed to work 100% of the time but when something doesn't work for days and no one (who I have spoken to) appears to know when it will be fixed then it starts to get frustrating, I don't know whether the fix will take days or weeks.

I have asked via the app how much it would cost to terminate my contract and they told me that I would have to pay off what I owe on the device, which I am happy to do.

I was just wondering if anyone else had managed to obtain a PAC code when they were without service, as all the advisors on the app seem stumped by that request.

I have reached out on social media as per @MI5 advice so will see if I get a response.
