No connection in italy

Hey all,

Travelled to Italy for a week and on arrival I couldn't connect to any Italian network. They mostly have forbidden in brackets and the 2 that don't won't allow me to connect.

Using an esim and have the travel package on a monthly account. My physical Vodacom sim connects no issue. (My SA SIM for when I'm in Africa)

Thought it was maybe the location I was in, so waited till the next city and again for the whole trip and next city was still no connection allowed.

I know I have roaming, it was working in Spain last week. And I've not hit my fair use yet only been out the UK for 2 weeks.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Some things to try:

1 - Reboot phone.
2 - Manually search for a different network
3 - If using an iPhone, change data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
4 - Check with O2 for any roaming bars.
