Failure to connect in France

O2 doesn’t connect to any network while I am in France. Any solutions? 
This also happened when I was travelling in Norway recently.

Connecting to networks in Germany and the Netherlands has not been a problem.

So, are you a Contract or PAYG customer?

Have you tried setting your phone to 4G instead of 5G?

Did you try searching manually for a different roaming network (even one that says "Forbidden")?

Have you rebooted your phone since moving from one country to another?

It is to do with the removal of 3G in these countries, nothing really O2 can do directly, @mfj.

I am a contract customer.  I’ve tried all of your suggestions but I still cannot connect.

The O2 chat support bot is of no help at all.

Don't use the chatbot, use one of the three Social Media channels as highlighted in the guide shared here: Guide: How to find help & contact O2 #,@mfj - FB Messenger is excellent for one-to-one communication with O2.

How long have you been outside of the UK as you are limited to 63 days in any 4 month period.
