Hi there, I just received a new Alcatel 1 and need to put the battery in, any good ideas how to get the back off?

yes I have read the user guide and watched a Youtube video, so far I have broken a nail and tried a nail file but the back won't budge, I'm afraid of breaking it by forcing with a screwdriver

any ideas please?

@MaryM@SB_1967 You shouldn't be having so much difficulty, as these videos show that the back comes off quite easily:

I've watched the videos.

It's not coming off. The corners have been gnawed. Still nothing. I can't see me buying anything by this brand ever again. It's simply ridiculous.

@SB_1967

If you can, pop into your local O2 store for them to take a look for you.

If it's faulty, they can replace the phone there and then.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
