I bought a new sim with o2 since i needed more data, but i wanted to keep my old number. So i was on the phone with tech support and they  transferred my existing number over to 02. This has been completed since the new number now shows on my new tarrif or plan (In the My 02 app) During the process on the phone the person said the line will go dead and he will call me back once i install the new sim into the phone, he never called me back. Since then i tried to activate the new sim since the number has been transfered without and luck, ive waited 24 hours plus. Now im not recieving any texts to my old sim and the new one has no service. Maybe someone can see where i went wrong and offer some advice?

Thanks.

We have no access to customer accounts, so you will need to contact customer services and ask them to check that the new sim has been activated..

Guide: How to find help & contact O2  (do not use X they cant help you at the moment).

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

If you got a plastic SIM, and are still without service, try rebooting the phone with new SIM now and then - this guide helps: Guide: Migration & porting into O2

You don't say if you were with O2 or another network before, so skip through to the correct part of the guide.

If you were provided with an esim, eSIM - How to activate  may help, @Max1000

Otherwise reconnect with O2 as you did previously - numbers all here: Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Good luck!
