Definitely a daily data charge. Turn off cell (mobile) data in settings.

What phone is she using? There is a chance it could be internet charges as the web daily charges £1 per day.

Turn off mobile data in the phone settings so that the phone can't connect to data services. If you tell us what phone we can advise you how t do it.
