Can't access Bt open-zone, O2 Wi-fi or The Cloud

Anonymous
Not applicable
I've just changed from blackberry handset to iPhone 3GS. I've canceled the blackberry bolt-on and now have the all rounder bolt-on. I'm having trouble finding any wi-fi hotspots when I'm at home. I was out earlier today and managed to find a bt open-zone, I'd spoke to an O2 representative on live chat and earlier 'as I thought you had to pay to access bt open-zone' and he said when I find a Bt hotspot I should use my phone number as my user name and password, I entered it and it didn't sign me in. I tried to simply ring o2 customer services but just kept getting more and more options and couldn't actually get through to anyone. Never happened before but ? Running low on data so really need to figure this out, Can anyone help please 😞

if you had signed up when you had your bb you now need to do a mac reset text wifi to 2121 or fill out the mac reset form https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=29&q1=26

Then try after an hour at a hotspot listed in the directory above

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

Check this site first to make sure the hotspot your trying to use is available. A lot of them aren't advertised as they should be:(

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink
