calling uk mobile in germany from uk

Hi, want to call my daughter's O2 mobile whilst she is in germany from my O2 mobile in uk.  She can cal me but when i call her i get a german message saying cant contact.  Have asked customer service and they suggest network reset but this does not work

You should just be able to dial exactly as you would at home without any codes, ie, just dial 07*********

@sandraHave you tried dialling from your contacts with the full German code in front of the number?

0049 or +49.

It shoudn't be necessary to do this but when I struggle to call foreign numbers this always works.

It must be a local network problem then @sandra
Ask your Daughter to manually select a different network on her phone and try an alternative.
Either that, or she has an incoming international call bar on her account which customer services will need to check.
She can call free from abroad if on contract http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

@sandra Should your daughter encounter this problem again if she's moving around, if you both have WhatsApp you can call and text over WiFi.
