Wondering if anyone can shed some light as I am slightly confused with Live Chat.

So I had £378 left on my device, when I upgraded I paid this off... Returned the phone as couldnt adjust from Samsung to Oppo and want to preorder the new samsung when its announced.

My question is, will my previous device still keep the money, or as part of the return do they refund that and charge the device charge as was before the upgrade?

Im hoping they keep the device paid off but Live chat kinda give a roundabout answer on it.

Cheers

No you have paid off the old device and are finished with that now.
So when you come to upgrade again unless there is an upfront cost you have nothing to pay.

@Rbarkley82

If you paid off your existing device to get a new phone, then O2 will keep the money as that was payment for the old device.

When you pre-order the new one, you will start afresh. (If I'm understanding what you are asking? Lol)

The old device is yours once paid off.

Why did you return it?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Rbarkley82  couldn't adjust from Samsung to Oppo. Wants to pre-order the new Samsung?

Thanks All... Essentially what I was hoping would happen... Rather have them keep the money and the old device paid off so when the preorder comes around dont have to faff around with refunds and paying off device again lol.

Yes I read that, but when paid off you don't return a device.

It belongs to you, not O2.
