We recently got an unlatching code for a phone however the lack of data suggests it might not be unlocked fully. Can anyone advise? (All setting are correct to use mobile data it just doesn't work) thanks

O2, as do some other mobile providers, restrict 'adult' content by default - you have to get the restriction lifted by proving you are old enough - for some reason entering into a credit contract doesn't satisfy them!

@Bubba63

It might be, see here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

It depends when you took the contract.

Paying off device dosn't automatically unlock it though.
