Told 80 per cent of UK data allowance on date of previos bill

I was told that 80% of UK dataallowance used on 26.10.14 which was date of last bill and that this would be reset on 27.11.14.

 

How could I have used up that amount at the start of the new period?

 

I have tried to have a Chat with O2 representative about this online but the line keeps on breaking.

Perhaps check your phones settings as some do have data counters built in which tells you what app used what data.

Ref contacting O2 I would give them a bell to O2 Customer Services. 202 for Contract. 4445 for PAYG.

What phone are we talking about?
All phones have a data counter built in that will display which apps have used data, but there is a known issue with iPhones reporting data incorrectly.....
