Nice one O2, so all your pre january customers can go blow but any new customers are protected by the Ofcom ruling? I've had two contract phones with you for years but you really know how to (edited) on people! Last time I'll bother with your service and I'll cancel asap.
Hope you enjoy the extra couple of percent you get from me (for now)
Extremely annoyed customer

I can confirm that Vodafone has put up prices mid contract as it happened when I was a customer before I joined O2.

You're right about that and O2 are the very last company to have done this after all the others had.

I've just finished chatting with customer support as I was angry about the price hike and was leaving, nice people gave me a £150 cash-back and extra bolt-ons. Weird business model when they try to jack-up prices by a £1 and have to give away £150 to keep the customer.
I'll stay for now as it's effectively free for 9 months but this has made o2 look shifty - I hope it's a publicity nightmare and backfires financially :manmad:

Are you saying that you would like to see O2 go broke then?
