@Toby .....one of my few "pet hates" is the use of that type of phrase because it is over-used.
In the majority of instances, it comes across as insincere, belittling to the person or persons it is aimed at and smacks of "corporatism".
In the example reported here, it may well be that O2 did not originate the error but they are still responsible for making the data available on their website therefore should be checking its veracity which obviously did not happen.
That is why that phrase, in my opinion, comes across as insincere.
I appreciate and accept that you may not agree with me.
I'll always remember being told by a senior executive in the company I worked for, "It takes little effort to get things wrong but to get things right requires great effort".
