Missold upgrade Carphone Warehouse

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

Hoping someone may be able to help.

I recently upgraded through Carphone Warehouse thinking I was on O2 refresh?

But on talking to O2 they told me Carphone Warehouse do not do their contracts like that.

I was talking about the pros and benefits as I took out the upgrade but no one told me otherwise.

Can I cancel?

Hi @Anonymous

You can only cancel if within the 14 day cooling off period?

Or if you have proof that you were mis-sold?

How recent was this?

As you have found out, CPW can't offer Refresh contracts....

Hi @Anonymous

You have 14 days from the day you sign to cancel with CPW on o2 contracts (for others reading this this is not the same for all networks)..

If you have gone beyond this then unless you can prove you were miss sold them you are stuck I'm afraid.

According to CPW T&C'S you don't have a cooling off period for upgrades so your only hope is mis-selling.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You will have to deal directly with CPW. Take a look at their Terms & Conditions for cancelling.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

If you believe you were miss sold then you will have to follow their (CPW) complaints procedure and then maybe refer your case to the Ombudsman. (You MUST complete their complaints procedure first - if you don't your case will be rejected immediately)

Agree with this. Too many posts recently about this with CPW
