you need to contact apple as soon as you have had the phone 4 weeks, it falls away from o2 and falls under apple, its a pain i know, but phone your nearest apple store and make an appoitment to see the "genius" team their and they will be able to help you further and try and resolve and rectify the issues for you.. good luck with this..

Consumer Law covers your for 6 years......tell them the device is covered under this so you want it sorted ASAP.

We are really sorry to hear you’ve got a faulty iPhone.
We can confirm that the iPhone comes with a 1-year warranty and if a fault occurs during the warranty period, both O2 and Apple can arrange a repair and if necessary, a replacement. But, outside of this warranty period, any repairs or replacements would be chargeable.
