Hi @Patsy4
Firstly you need wifi off and mobile data on and you need a good 3g signal.
If still not working, text the word "active" to 2020 then save the settings you get sent back and reboot your phone.

There are much less expensive, (as in free) methods of sending picture messages which are also mentioned in the guide, and which you should explore.

Went on O2 website and had a long live chat. Given instrucitons to follow and now all sorted. Had to make 25 alteration sot my phone - too complicated to tell you!!!. thank you

I presume it was changing the APN settings...which I know from experience, is a long lengthy process

Not forgetting to 'save changes'
Still, if people want to send or receive MMS (which is their choice entirely) then they probably will have to change the APN settings. (As I did only 4 days ago on my Note 😎
