Cancelling auto top up

Anonymous

I have built up loads of credit on my PAYG account and now want to stop auto top ups. Despite the online info saying it can be cancelled at any time I just can't find how to go about it. Does anyone know???

Indeed I will. I have never done payg so not too familiar with it. More likely I will go sim only on a monthly contract when my current deal ends. Seen some good deals via both CPW and Quidco. So for example EE unlimited mins and texts and 2gb for £13.99 per month.

Where did you see that mate?

Hi @MI5 It was at www.carphonewarehouse.com. The deal is £15.99 per month however there is a £24 auto cash back so effective £13.99 per month. Likely to be enough for me.

Here is the link:

If you look on CPW they do a deal with o2 for 1000 mins, unlimited texts and 1gb normally £16 but auto cash back takes that to £10 per month equivalent.

Or if you need a few more minutes for £12.50 per month on Tesco Mobile 1500 mins 5000 texts and 1gb.

All these are on 1 year contracts sim only

With respect Rhona28 -

There is no such option, and on the Top-Up linked page, no such option there either, same on the Top-Up menu page too, and, running a search on the so-called 'help' for 'cancel auto top-up' returns no actual response whatsoever. VERY frustrating !

This thread is 12 months old and many things have changed on the website now. Somethings do remain constant though, broken links and endless looping, ordering online throwing up errors....
