I am visitng the USA for a month and dont really need the travel bolt as i only intend to communicate via text. However, will i be charged for calls that are classified as missed calls or if the caller leaves a voicemail?

We always advise you dial 1760 to turn it off before leaving UK.
You will also be charged for sending texts.

Your best bet is to use as much Wifi as possible to communicate with friends and family
Messenger, Whatsapp and Skype are the way to go
Enjoy your holiday
