Hi there,

Arrived in America today from UK and cannot connect to the T Mobile network.

Does the £15 monthly top up account not include the USA. It says I have 51,000 ma's and am covered in 42 Countries. Data roaming is ON. Am I missing something?

Thanks (in advance)

@JuanDayatatime

Only allowances abroad you get are in euro zone.

50 Calling minutes to the 42 countries are from the UK, not when roaming.

Little confused. You say £15 per month top up account. Is this a contract or is it one of O2'S rolling plan.

If contract then turn off 5G, make sure that 4G calling is enabled.

Then manually search for other networks. Try connecting to each on even if you get 'forbidden'

AT&T may work

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

It's PAYG.

Check data roaming is on in phone settings.

Manually search for and try other networks - even if flagged as forbidden.

Turn off 5g

Enable 4g calling (if on contract)

Change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk" if not data is being received.

Check with O2 whether you have a roaming bar on your account. Do this via social media

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , or X ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), they should be able to help.
