Hi

Just wanted to get some general help around travelling to america soon, did some research on the O2 travel bolt on, if I go outside of the EU, does that mean with the additional £6 daily charge I can use all my normal allowance for data,texts and calls or is there a cap or limit to these when being in America.

Any help would be great.

Many Thanks,

Yes, but they do limit data speeds to around 2Mbps

USA - Roaming with O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@KMAN

Some people find it better to get a local PAYG sim from T Mobile or AT&T mobile. This will give you increased data speeds.

As you are looking for general advice re Travel in the US, then use Whatsapp or Messenger over Wifi to contact family and friends. (Make sure they have both these apps downloaded).

Turn off Voicemail as any call, even if unanswered, will cost you.

Best of luck and enjoy your time in the US.
