@Djn1982

I'm not sure either unless you left O2 and came back?

Either way you need to speak to customer services and tell them it's been removed twice now and you don't want to go through this palaver again https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

It's another call to customer service then, sorry. Sometimes when o2 update their systems, all manner of things reset to default, just ask the many of us that have to constantly reset our account preferences.

That's probably why then...(the upgrade). It shouldn't happen but do as advised in my first post.

It is ridiculous, I agree!!

I've Been sending international payments for three last 5 years to a account. Come to make a payment today and the account details have disappeared. So a payment is going to be late and the useless bank say they don't have the account details. So it isn't just an O2 thing!!

Did the new phone come with a new SIM? If so the content blocker preference is probably tied to the SIM and so will come with a default of on so it will need to be switched off again.

Failing that maybe your account was refreshed during the upgrade process and the content blocker settings put back to the default of on.

I feel your pain. It took me a few customer service contacts to get it switched off then it was switched on again and I had to ask for it to be removed again. Rinse & repeat.
