Doctor Who to regenerate for the 11th time

This week saw the speculation that Matt Smith will depart the tardis in this years christmas special. Is it a pr stunt to promote next weeks return of the doctor to tv screens & to hype up audiences to ready them for the 50th anniversary.

Or is it true, if so who would you like to see as the 12th doctor or a big question, would you want a female doctor who

my preferences would be a a mixed race doctor to provide a cultural difference or a female doctor:smileywink:

Wouldn't Clara remember being River if she would be her? The Doctor doesn't forget his past after regenerating...

I kinda like Clara more than Amy (even Amy's & Rory's end was stupid -.-)

Agree with you, much prefer Clara, that's part of the mystery, she doesn't even know that she has died twice & that she's an impossible person z& the doctor has no clue as to her real identity
