Help! I purchased a monthly sim account from the O2 shop in Exeter on the 20/05/24. I have put the Sim card in my phone and it asks for SIM network PUK. what is that?

How can I unlock the SIM card.

Not sure why any O2 shop should give you a new sim requiring a PUK?

All info here @Alf2

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/device-and-sim-support/unblock-your-phone

Take the phone and sim with ID back to the shop and ask  them to sort it for you.

Sounds like your phone is locked to a previous network.

Go back to whichever network you last used your phone on and ask them to unlock it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
