ORDER DISCHARGE DATE

I made an order on Sunday over the phone for a contract phone and today is Wednesday. I got the confirmation, however I haven't recieved the phone or email stating a dispatch date. I rung O2 and they stated it could be that they are checkin the credit check. However, this was approved during the call. The upfront cost was also taken from my card. Is there something I am missing or this is how O2 operates?

Sometimes O2 do a credit check over the phone, although they sometimes do further credit checks. It sounds as if your phone might be out of stock DESPITE it showing as in stock when you order.

You will get an email when the phone is dispatched and you can then check it via My O2.

You really need to call O2 again and ask for the status of your order.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call
