Anyone else experienced the appalling service when trying to change your name?
I have been trying to change my name with o2 for over 5 weeks now - 4 messages and a written complaint later I got a text to say it had been changed. Only to log in today and find it still hasn't been changed on the website and my bill is wrong despite being told 4 times that the account name has been changed.
Pretty poor o2 as mobile phones show on your financial record and you have an obligation under data protection to keep your records up to date.
So fed up of spending time on the chat and phone trying to get this done.

Is this due to marriage? Either way you need to send proof to this address
Send a copy of the marriage certificate (or name change) with a covering letter giving details of all the account numbers you have with O2. (For example mobile, broadband, home phone.) to:
The Correspondence Management Team
PO BOX 694
Winchester
SO23 5AP
Or via email with the scanned proofs to BusinessTOO@o2.com
Or via fax with the scanned proofs to 0870 6002402.
